Gernot Adrion, born 1969, comes from Sulzbach-Rosenberg/Oberpfalz (Germany) and studied viola with Professor Dr. Hans Kohlhase, composition with Dr. Vivienne Olive and conducting with Werner Andreas Albert at the Musikhochschule Nürnberg, Germany. Since 1996 he has been deputy principal viola in the Rundfunkorchester Berlin. In addition to his orchestral activities, he is also active as an arranger, mentor of the orchestra's own academy and chamber musician in the Gideon-Klein-Trio and together with the pianist, Yuki Inagawa. His compositions include solo works, chamber music, songs as well as orchestral and choral music.
